say sayto

Syntax:

say <message>
sayto <person> <message>
SAY - it's the main way people talk to each other in the same room. Just type SAY (or ') followed by any message, and you'll say it. If John types "SAY Greetings!" then everybody in the room would see: John says, '{Y}Greetings!{w}' To EXCLAIM, use two exclamation marks (!!) in the end of message; to ASK, use two question marks (??). SAY Could you tell me the way to Palanthas?? SAY I'm the biggest and the best, better than the rest!! You don't have to end your SAY command with punctuation (though you can). Use a . or a ? or a ! in the end of your message if you wish to. To give your SAYs even more expression, you may use emoticons (sometimes called smileys) at the very end of your message. If John types SAY Solace is driving me so happy!! :) Then people will see John exclaims cheerfully, '{Y}Solace is driving me so happy!{w}' You can also combine the two aforesaid features: if John types SAY Are you already leaving?? :( People will see John asks sadly, '{Y}Are you already leaving?{w}' Here are the emoticons and what they do: :) say with happy mood :| say with undecided mood :( say with unhappy mood :(( say with sad mood :? say with thoughtful mood :O say with surprised mood :/ say with sceptical mood SAYTO command works the same way as SAY command, but it requires a target: if John types SAYTO Jim Hello Others will see John says to Jim, '{Y}Hello.{w}' You can also use emoticons and double exclamation and question marks in SAYTO command. To enhance the expression of your messages even more, try using MOODS command (refer to: help MOODS).
