You can buy pets in the pet shop. You may own only one pet at a time, after the old one dies you may purchase a replacement. Pet stores are in Palanthas, Caergoth, Naiadia, and New Thalos. Mercenary and slave shops may also be scattered about. The best mercenary shop is in Palanthas, on the eastern trade road. There is also one in Caergoth, and there are rumours of a slave shop in Neraka, though the way is dangerous.
