After the Cataclysm rained destruction upon Krynn, the three Gods of Magic did not leave the mortals to their lonely fate, but continued to guide the brightest minds in their search of answers, knowledge and wisdom. Lunitari, goddess of neutral magic, founded the Order of the Red Robes. Red robes try to balance the forces of good and evil, so neither one becomes more powerful than the other. Lunitari likes to assume the guise of a vivacious young woman, a trickster who uses her magic to create wonderful and misleading illusions to amuse, entertain, inspire or coax as she sees fit. Unlike Hiddukel who seeks to mislead only to further his own profits, the spells of Lunitari are designed to create a sense of wonder and love of the old ways of great magic that are all but forgotten nowadays. Her followers are more numerous than those of Solinari or Nuitari, and work to bring magic to the world and maintain the delicate balance that exists between good and evil magic. Though Lunitari is honored and respected as the patron deity of the Red Robe Wizards of High Sorcery, she can accept those who prove their devotion to the Goddess, and who share the ideas of her study. The main goals of followers of Lunitari are thus: -To devote yourself to magic. -To enhance and expand the use of magic in the world. -To strive to maintain the balance of good and evil magic, and promote the use of neutral magic. -To bring other worthy candidates to the study of the art. -To oppose the forces of ignorance who fear and mistrust magic, most notably the Heretics of Krynn. -To work in harmony with the Red-Robes of Tower of High Sorcery on matters of knowledge and research. -To serve the Goddess faithfully and without hesitation.
