The Knights of Solamnia are an organization of good aligned warriors who follow the Code of Solamnia. The Knights are supposed to truthful, honorable, and trustworthy. Any of the Light who is lawful may petition to join the Knights of Solamnia. The Knights are broken into three subgroups or orders, these are the Knights of the Rose, the Knights of the Crown, and the Knights of the Sword. The Knights of the Crown are the more city guard-oriented sect, whereas the Knights of the Rose and Sword are more of fighting sects. Only knights, clerics, rangers and fighters can dream about becoming one of the Knights of Solamnia. Also only human, half-elf and half-kender may send their petitions to Solamnia. The Knights of Solamnia are a symbol of all that is good and right in the world, and are sworn to defend the world from the forces of darkness.
