OOC is short for Out Of Character. It means you are talking out of your
character's role-played perspective and just as yourself. The OOC channel
is used for all OOC talking, and OOC CAN NOT be used in other channels.
Speaking OOC in ANY other channel, ESPECIALLY clan channels, will result in
punishment.
Using "ooc" by itself will toggle the channel on and off. If it is off you
will not hear any OOC tells, nor will you be able to talk with it.
OOC should never be used to insult or harass others, if it is then you
will have it revoked.
OOC may not be used to cheat or discuss in-character matters such as
quests or help required for your character. It in being allowed in order
to give players an OOC channel to talk on, and to make all other channels
In-character only.
Any language may be used on OOC, but it would be courteous to send an English
OOC to a player you do not know, as Solace is an English-speaking MUD.
The OOC channel is not global. You can only send one OOC message at a time. You
can use "oocreply" to reply to the last person who sent you an OOC tell.
