jealousy
((/\/\/\ = The Shrine of Jealousy = /\/\/\))
Zeboim, daughter of Takhisis and Sargonnas, sensed that her solo efforts on the mortal plane were
not enough, decided to extend her reach to involve the mortals themselves. As her dark, brooding
hatred boiled and churned in the depthless reaches of her black heart, she formulated a plan to
attack Krynn with willing mortals.
She has no clergy, no clerics bearing her mark or wearing her holy symbol. There are too few
willing to bear with her endless rages, her incessant and fatal mood swings. But for those who
are strong and steadfast, certain in their faith that they will be able to weather her dark and
terrible storms, there is a reward.
Those who think they are strong enough in spirit and body are commanded to go to the murky,
chilling gateway to the Temple of Jealousy and wait there with the foul Kraken that guards the
portal into the hate-filled inner sanctum. Wait there for the Darkling Sea to appear in her
unholy glory and speak with you ... and then you and she shall see if you are truly as strong and
willful as you believe yourself to be.
The candidates for the Chosen must not follow any other gods, especially those of Zeboim's weak
and arrogant father, Sargonnas. No mages can enter into the Order - their hearts are too closely
tied with Nuitari's draining influence. Thieves are unwanted, as well. They follow too closely
Hiddukel's teachings and way. All others must have black souls, and hearts filled with the
turmoil of chaos and disorder. Should you fill these criteria, wait with the silent and
terrifying Kraken ... Zeboim is waiting, and she will not wait forever.
The Chosen follow Zeboim's words and orders at every moment, lest their incur her dreadful wrath.
Their goals are as follows:
- To bring the fear and knowledge of Zeboim into dwarven hearts ... they know nothing about her,
nor do they acknowledge her existence.
- To do exactly as Zeboim commands, no matter if it means death for them.
- To stop followers of Habbakuk and weaken his control over the seas that are rightfully hers.
- To never aid a follower of Sargonnas - he is undeserving of Takhisis' affections and
attentions.
