Artists, alchemists, and lovers are his followers. The god of flame and natural power, Sirrion is the guard of the neutral way and the bringer into being of nature. His companion is Shinare, the goddess of industry and creation from nature. They are traditionally seen as a quarrelsome couple and their disputes are of cosmic proportions. Sirrion is not always tame. He sometimes sparks forest fires to clear rotten trees and allow young forests to grow. He also burns children who play with a candle flame, teaching them to respect fire. Though he desires to make fire useful, he wishes to make it even more beautiful. Like the flames he controls, Sirrion is temperamental and artistic. He often appears as a tall man with flaming hair, beard, and eyebrows. Sirrion cares little for mortal followers, though the beauty and power of fire draw many to him. Gnomes especially love Sirrion because of the steam power and smoke he can provide for their work. Followers of Sirrion have a great challenge. They must shape fire into beautiful and useful forms, never losing control so that it's destructive power is released. Followers of Sirrion primarily serve nature with their fire handling. Sirrion occasionally grants small boons to those who contain a destructive fire or use fire to promote the creative passions. He also looks favorably on those who disrupt Shinare's plans of industry and commerce. The main goals of Temple of the Eternal Flame are such: -To obey the orders of Great Lord Sirrion. -To find balance inside themselves, to act sufficiently. -To return persuasion for persuasion, to return fury for agression. -To use the magnificent gift in order to clean out the old and make way for the new.
