--=== Cult of the Dead ===-- In the beginning, while the world was being created Takhisis, the Chromatic Dragon Queen of Darkness drew upon the forces of time and in the time of Legends she saw an ancient and powerful creature, once known as Chemosh, Lord of Undead. Ripping time, she drew Chemosh to the prime material plane of existence, and he became very pleased, since Takhisis saved him from being banished into the void. Once the Dragon Wars began, Chemosh became a general of the DragonArmy, leading a horde of Dark Knights in the glorious crusade against goodness. The Army of the Dead assisted the Dragonarmy in that time of need. While the world was being conquered Chemosh found himself powerful enough to chase Takhisis herself, and decline to stay as General of her army. Promising a false eternity in a corrupted undead body, he gathered a large amount of minions, who keep serving him to the end of times in their cursed undead form. Mortals realized that wisdom lies beyond the edge of life and death, and attempted to exchange their soul and body for promise of godlike stage, and an amount of incredible time to research the deeper abysses of darkest magic and unlimited power. They pray to the Lord of the Undead, and become followers of the Eternal Lich. Necromancers and Outcasts become undead beings, gathering power that a mortal mind cannot fathom, others just become tattooed with charred skull. As Priests of Chemosh they walk around Krynn, spreading wishes of their undead lord. The main goals of the minions of Chemosh is to eradicate the living. They are filled with hatred to ones who breathe, since they have already lost this ability, or something close to it. Undead servants loses all mortal feeling, such as love, Honor, Pride, only pure black hatred fills his mind. Their creeds are: - We walk beyond edge between life and death, and we shall spread knowledge of our father. - No one shall stand between us and our victims. - We will keep spreading death and in time the black grip of death will grasp over every soul in realm. - The only orders we obey is the deathly whisper of our Lord, Father of False Redemption. - Our hatred is beyond mortal minds, and we shall not explain to anyone our matters. Entering in the Cult of the Dead is the most secret part. Chemosh leave this gift only using his own matter. Only know you must have evil tendencies, and stay on the side of order. Followers of the Cult have been granted the special tattoo of Lord Chemosh himself. Only this sign reveals it to other beings who walk over the lands of Krynn.
