The knights of the land are bound by certain rules of conduct, which they must follow at all times. These are those rules: 1. A knight must help those in need, as long as they are not evil. They must defend the innocent. Helping those in need involves curing them of poisons or disease, healing them, creating food or water for them, finding a weapon or a piece or armour for them, et cetera. 2. A knight must be respectful to everyone at all times, and behave with honour. Knights should especially be respectful to ladies, even lady knights. 3. A knight should not be greedy. He or she should not keep too many items of power with him. If he finds many of these limited items and he cannot use them, he should either help those of the knight guild or those of goodness or neutrality, or offer them as sacrifices to Paladine or Kiri-Jolith. Not doing so will bring about the wrath of the gods of goodness, who do not believe greed to be a virtue of a knight.
